Lace lost most of her undercoat and she looks sligltly smaller, however I am preatty sure she gained some weight because the belly is fattier; She is eating more that when she arrieved and although she is not extremely fussy, there are some foods that she likes more than others.
Treats... we got those "minibites Temptations"... and she just goes CRAZY, to the extend that whenever she can she will steal the whole box and run away! To avoid her becoming adicted we limit the treats only after the grooming sessions and i think that this made helped me to convince her that Grooming is "the most amazing treatment she can have" , in particular when she get her treats at the end.
Now whenever we have a visitor/s instead of hiding or being nervous or being suspitious, SHE WILL DEMAND their attention and SHE WILL MAKE SURE she is the subject of the discussion for as long as it lasts their visit;
Cristina and I are sometimes lost for words because of the wonderful character she is developing; she is extremely aware of her surroundings and, as long as she is in HER HOUSE, all what come in (things or people) becomes basically HER property.
I have to say that there is no day that Cristina and I comment on the fact that Lace is the most affectioned and wonderful cat we could end with; She follows us everywere, she interacts with as the same way (actually more) as a dog wold do and it is apparent to us that she is not afraid of anything provided that we are around.
One exhample that explains it all: THE HOOVER.
In any house/family I know the hoovering process has always been extremely traumatic for dogs and cats... Lace, she just really does not care at the point that she will follow me through the house all the time, supervising that I do a good job, I guess...
Is funny to see her when I work, she will be always around making sure that I do things properly, I clean well when I finish.. basically she is becoming a VERY good "quality control manager".
Here are few pics I took last week:
This is she supervising my collegue's work and questioning his filing methods

Here she is checking the packaging process

Here she is verifying the quality of the incoming goods

here she is waiting for more goods to arrive (they are late!!)

Here is she in the garden exploring the surroundings... it is still too early to leave her alone so we take her out with the leash and although we notice that she like to go out, at the end she prefers to stay inside the house

Last, her beautiful , hypnotic eyes...
